Nikolay Maltsev

Laureate and diploma winner of All-Russian and international competitions

Nikolay Maltsev graduated from the Novosibirsk State Choreographic School / College (2014).

Since 2014, he has been with the Company of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. On the stage of the theatre, he performs leading and solo parts in classical and contemporary ballets: Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky, Coppelia by L. Delibes, Le Corsaire, Giselle by Adam, Don Quixote by Minkus, Cinderella, Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev, Spartacus by A. Khachaturian, Rubies by G. Balanchine with the music by I. Stravinsky, etc.

He toured with the theatre Company in Moscow (The Bolshoi Theatre of Russia; 2014 – Golden Mask Festival; 2019 – tour on the Historical Stage), in the Republic of Kazakhstan (Astana, 2014), South Korea (2014), took part in the International Music and Dance Festival in Thailand (2015), the International Festival in Budapest (2019), the International Opera and Ballet Festival Chersonesos (2019).

Laureate of the Award for the Support of Talented Youth, established by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation in 2006. In 2010, Nikolay Maltsev was awarded the Diploma of the International Classical Dance Competition named after L. Gershunova. He was awarded the gold medal of the Delphic Games of Russia (2013 and 2015) and the silver medal of the Delphic Games of the CIS member states (2013). In 2013, he won the Grand Prix of the Mikhailovsky Theatre. In 2015, he received the second prize of the All-Russian Competition of Young Performers “Russian Ballet”.
